| ET-109RST is an Ethernet IEEE802.3 media converter from 10Base-T to 10Base-FL. It is designed to address the situation where only 10Base-T port is available but requires 10Base-FL connectivity via ST connectors. Such high performance media converter can repeat and convert data signal running 10Base-FL cable up to 2 kilometers. It is equipped with two fiber optic ST connectors (one for transmitting and the other for receiving) and one RJ-45 connector (DTE/MPR switch is used to select either workstation or Hub connection). Four LED indicators are built-in for easily diagnosing and monitoring the status of Power, UTP Link/Activity, Fiber Link/Activity, and Collision. ET-109RSC has the same function as that of ET-109RST except it is equipped with two fiber SC connectors. |
