PC cards in all formats for all protocols
As a uniform standard, the cifX PC card family supports all Real-Time Ethernet and fieldbus systems for PC-based automation on the market.
The entire protocol stack is executed on the PC card and data is exchanged with the host via dual-port memory or DMA (Direct Memory Access). Due to the standardized Hilscher platform strategy, all PC cards use the same drivers and tools - regardless of protocol and card format. Hilscher netX technology makes it possible to implement all Real-Time Ethernet protocols with one hardware. A protocol change is carried out by loading a different firmware.

Whether different cable lengths, M12 sockets, additional NVRAM, extended temperature range, 2-channel cards or remote network interfaces - numerous hardware options always offer the perfect solution for your individual application. In addition, a wide range of device drivers and a free C toolkit ensure usability on all systems.
